Partners can opt in to campaign-related SMS updates when they join through the public campaign join flow.
How Partners Opt In
Partners enter a phone number in Phone Number. When a phone number is present, JV Copilot shows the SMS opt-in checkbox:
Yes, send me SMS updates for this campaign only
The opt-in copy tells partners to expect 1-2 texts total: when the campaign launches and a reminder on send day. It also says they can unsubscribe anytime.
SMS In The Campaign Workflow
SMS is tied to the partner's campaign participation. Use it as a lightweight reminder channel, not as a replacement for email or the partner dashboard.
What Not To Assume
Do not rely on SMS for every partner. Partners must provide a phone number and opt in before they can receive campaign SMS updates.
